At Wooden Labyrinth, we respect your privacy and provide a straightforward way to delete your account and all associated personal data. This page outlines the steps you can take to request account deletion and explains what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account (In-App)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Wooden Labyrinth application:
Open the Wooden Labyrinth app on your device.
From the Main Menu, tap the Settings icon (the gear symbol).
In the Settings panel, select the Sign In tab.
If you are signed in, you will see your account details and a DELETE button (with a trash can icon).
Tap DELETE and confirm the prompt to permanently remove your account.
Request Deletion via Web Form
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access it, you can request account deletion by filling out our support form below. Please provide the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request.
What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
Authentication Profile: Your Firebase Auth profile (email, name, and profile picture URL).
User ID (UID): The unique identifier linked to your account.
Account Metadata: Information about when your account was created and last accessed.
What Data is Kept?
Community Mazes: If you have uploaded mazes to the Community Hub, the mazes themselves remain available to other players. However, your name and User ID will be removed from the "Creator" field, and the maze will be marked as created by an "Anonymous User."
Local Data: Game progress stored locally on your device (coins, level stars, settings) remains on your device until you uninstall the application.
Data Retention
Once an account deletion request is processed (immediately in-app, or within 7 days via web request), the data cannot be recovered. We do not retain any backups of deleted user profiles.
